The Sun (Surya) enters sidereal Aquarius (Kumbha) today. Kumbha Sankranti is considered the 11th month of the Hindu solar calendar.
Important practical beginnings are traditionally avoided on days of solar ingress. When the Sun comes into airy house of Aquarius, the flames of the Sun will be fanned.
It is going to get quite hot and uncomfortable! Open the doors and windows and let the light flood in and the winds of change sweep through. Aquarius is going to have a tussle with Authoritarian Sun.
