It’s Thursday, May 23, & moon is full full in Scorpio, in the starspace or Nakshatra called Anuradha. Scorpio is shadowland, where our repressed/suppressed emotions come out to play. Which also makes it our discomfort zone, b/c being with our emotional grunge is not exactly comfortable. But not being with it is not an option if we are going to grow, evolve. Thank goodness Mars, who gives us courage, rules Scorpio.
Anuradha is ruled by Mitra, the divine friend, the most loyal, devoted friend ever, the one who’s always there, regardless, the one who sees you & me as the fractals of the divine we are.
“The way you alchemize a soulless world into a sacred world is by treating everyone as if they are sacred, until the sacred in them remembers.”—??
Anuradha is symbolized by a lotus flower, which is rooted in the mud & muck, in our delusions, in our emotional grunge, in our dark depths, & blossoms magnificently—not despite, but b/c of.
This full moon is also celebrated as the birthday of the buddha, who achieved enlightenment after many years of suffering & purification, of confronting his own shadow, all that was not light, who was able to transform that darkness into light, into wisdom, blossom into a lotus.
What else is in the mix? As I mentioned yesterday, Scorpio is not exactly Moon’s happy, & Venus, Jupiter & Sun, opposite in Taurus, sign of our comfort zone, are not exactly doing a happy dance either. All of which means our emotional IQ (Moon) is subnormal & we may have a tendency to do what feels good (Venus) rather than what is right (Jupiter), what is most beneficial for our soul (Sun) evolution. Like being able to embrace our shadow, look it in the face & ask what it has to teach us & thus transform it into wisdom, into gorgeousness.
What have you been repressing? can you look at it through the eyes of self-compassion, through the eyes of a divine friend? What are you attached to, as the stalk of a lotus is to the mud?
Remember: no mud, no lotus!
“Many times blessings come in disguise,” wrote Osho. “& those who are ready to accept even misfortunes joyfully, they transform the misfortune into a joy.”
Are you ready for transformation, to blossom into the lotus you are? To be joy itself?
And that’s your daily bliss! which is a sort of lunar weather report. may it allow you to align with the day’s cosmic energy so you can find & create a little more bliss.
